Why this exists

Every BA course we evaluated before building BAvolta had the same problem: they taught business analysis as a knowledge exercise. Watch a video. Read a slide deck. Pass a multiple-choice quiz on definitions. Move to the next chapter.

But business analysis is not a knowledge problem. It is a practice problem.

You can memorize every chapter of the BABOK and still freeze in your first stakeholder interview when a VP gives you a vague requirement and a tight deadline. You can explain the difference between functional and non-functional requirements on paper and still struggle to write a user story that a developer can actually build from.

The gap between "understanding BA concepts" and "doing BA work" is where most training fails. BAvolta exists to close that gap.

What makes this different

BAvolta teaches through interactive lessons built around real case studies with real companies, real dollar amounts, and real consequences. You do not watch someone explain a concept. You read a narrative, encounter a problem, and make decisions.

Every lesson includes scenario-based decision points where you choose what a business analyst would do under pressure. Knowledge checks test your judgment, not your ability to recall definitions. And Case Lab simulations put you inside a realistic BA engagement where you produce the same artifacts you would deliver on a real project: stakeholder registers, requirements documents, process models.

By the end of the program, you have a portfolio of 8 real deliverables you can show in job interviews. Not a certificate. Not a badge. Actual work product that demonstrates you can do the job.

The program

12 modules. 55 interactive lessons. Approximately 13 hours of content. Aligned with the BABOK v3 knowledge areas and designed to prepare you for the IIBA ECBA certification.

Module 1 is completely free. No credit card, no trial period, no catch. Six lessons, about 80 minutes. By the end, you will understand the BA role well enough to decide if this career path is right for you.

Who builds this

BAvolta is an independent product built in Brussels, Belgium. The platform is designed for career switchers, aspiring business analysts, and junior practitioners who want to build real skills through practice.
