Business analysis is a practice problem.
Most courses teach it like a knowledge problem. That is why you can pass the certification and still freeze in your first real interview.
Our mission
Most people enter business analysis blind. They watch a video course, pass a multiple-choice exam, and discover in their first real meeting that the job is nothing like what they studied. The gap between “I passed the course” and “I can actually do this work” is where careers stall.
BAvolta exists to close that gap before it costs you a job offer. The platform is built for one person: someone considering business analysis who wants to understand the role honestly, practice it in realistic conditions, and walk into interviews with proof of skill instead of a certificate.
That means career switchers from nursing, teaching, operations, support, project coordination. Anyone who needs to know whether this career fits before they commit, and who needs the artifacts and judgment to land the first role once they decide it does.
You can memorize every chapter of the BABOK and still freeze when a VP gives you a vague requirement and a tight deadline.
How BAvolta works
BAvolta has three connected parts. Each one targets a specific gap in how business analysis is normally taught.
Lessons
Interactive learning built around real scenarios. Every lesson opens with a case: a company, a problem, a stakeholder with conflicting priorities. You read the situation, hit a decision point, and pick what you would do. Then you find out what a senior BA would have done and why the obvious answers are wrong. Knowledge checks test your judgment, not your ability to recall a definition.
Case Lab
Full-shape engagement simulations. You step into a project, interview stakeholders, work through evidence, identify conflicts, and produce the artifacts a real BA would deliver: stakeholder registers, requirements documents, process models, use cases. Every scenario is a composite built from real BA engagements, not a textbook example simplified to make the lesson easier. AI grades your artifacts against rubrics built from senior BA review standards, so the feedback reflects what would actually get pushed back in a real review.
Portfolio
A gallery of every artifact you produce in Case Lab. Exportable, shareable, recruiter-ready. Hiring managers do not want to see a certificate. They want to see whether you can produce a clean requirements document, a defensible process model, a stakeholder register that holds up under questioning. The portfolio gives you that proof, in a format you can attach to applications or walk into interviews with.
The program, briefly
Twelve modules. Fifty-five interactive lessons. Roughly thirteen hours of content. Aligned with BABOK v3 knowledge areas. Structured to prepare you for the IIBA ECBA certification if that is a goal.
Module 1 is free. No credit card, no trial period, no catch. Six lessons, about 80 minutes. By the end of it you will understand the BA role well enough to decide if this career path is right for you. If it is not, you walk away having learned something useful for free. If it is, Module 2 unlocks when you decide to continue.
Every release is shaped by feedback from the people going through it. If something breaks, something confuses you, or something could be better, email hello@bavolta.com.
Try it.
The first module is free, takes about 80 minutes, and will tell you honestly whether this path fits. Or skip the reading and reach out directly.
